MG Cyberster is the first 2 seater convertible electric sports car of MG Motors and it looks fire. This new MG Cyberster electrical has a really cool feature like a Lamborghini having scissor doors. LAUNCH– MG Motors India announced that they will launch their first Electric Car in Indian Market on 25th June and deliveries start from July. This car will be imported to India from China

Front Profile

MG Cyberster

From the front it looks great, love that sloping nose way it goes all the way down. There are fake vents. Its front look has been given a smiling face. Some people may call it MG’s Ferrari or Porsche. But this MG has its own unique look. All the modern elements have been added to this car. Its front will have the Mg logo parking sensors along with matrix LED Headlamps. It also has wind channels so that the tyres get proper cooling. Along with this, this car has a grill, air splitter, 360 camera in the front.

The rear look of the cyberster has been made in a very unique design. In this car we get connected tail lights with arrow design which gives this car a different look from other cars. This will give this vehicle 510 hp and 725 Nm of torque.Due to 510 horsepower and 725 newton meter torque, the acceleration value of this car has increased such that this car will achieve 0 to 100 in just 3.2 seconds.In India, as per the CLTC cycle, it can deliver a range of up to 580 km on a single charge. For European markets, the WLTP cycle estimates its range at approximately 500–507 km.

Internationally, this vehicle comes with dual motor support in the option of 77 kW, which means there is a motor in the front axle as well as the rear axle.If you want to buy a smaller battery pack (64 kW) then that is also available. It powers only the rear wheel.

As we unlock this car by long pressing the key, its scissor doors will open automatically Which is a very cool feature and gives a Lamborghini vibe. The length of this car is 4.5 m. If we look at this car in SUV category then this car is slightly smaller than a hector. Its wheel base is in the range of 2.6 m which is fine as per its length.

But the biggest requirement that a sports car demands is the center of gravity. Any sports car should have a minimum center of gravity. To make the center of gravity of this car low, the ground clearance has been kept very low. We will get a ground clearance of 116mm in this car. The gross weight of this car is 2210 kg. All the functions & features of IDAS Level 2 will be available in this car (MG Cyberster). Here, along with the start/stop button on the steering, a super sport button is also available. This car doesn’t use a single curved display; instead, designers have arranged three separate displays to create a curved layout.

One display handles all the infotainment controls, another serves as the main instrument cluster, and the third shows information like energy consumption, charging status, and vehicle load. In addition, the car has a dedicated display near the gear buttons that shows sports features such as driving settings, launch mode instructions, seat adjustments, and lighting controls.

The ex-showroom price of cyberster may be around 70 to 75 lakh INR. But MG Motors India has not officially confirmed it yet but they may do so soon. But one thing is for sure that it is going to be much cheaper than other sports cars.
